Michael Andrew Jaworski is presently a doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at UIUC in 2002, his M.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering in 2006 at UIUC. His present work in on plasma facing components and the plasma edge of magnetically confined fusion devices. Specifically, on the use of liquid metals such as lithium, as a first wall or divertor material.
He is a research assistant at the Center for Plasma-Material Interactions.
