As the API in Blender seems to be changing and you having to adapt the SwiftSnap-sources how about using tags to help people find an old version that works with their Blender. Basically when you move from Blender 2.69 to 2.71 (just an example) and notice that you will have to change things for that version you tag the last version in the repository (the one that you know that it works for 2.69) with something like blender_2.69 and then move on. That way people who have to stick with 2.69 (because their distro only has a binary package for that) know which version will work for them. 2.70-users will be in the dark but at least they know which version approximately supports their blender.

I had already mentioned this to Kalle on post #78...

Didn't see that. Just saw the change to the page, had a look at the github-repo and thought "that'd be nice. For both sides. The users will have an indication which version to use and he'll only have to write once in the README 'for old versions check the tags'"
