Benchmarks

A benchmark case was created based on the motorBike tutorial. The case together with a script for running the benchmark on multiple cores can be found here. The case has been run on several different workstations as discussed in the CFD online forums here:

This plot summarizes the results, showing the highest amount of iterations per second for each hardware configuration:

Please note that there are some differences in OpenFOAM versions used, memoy configurations and so on that could influence the results. Use at your own risk :)
