I like some aspects of the page structure but I wonder if we couldn't simplify it a bit and give easier access to some of the more major themes, such as Installation? There are plenty of examples of Main Page structures that might be worth considering? BTW, I think this wiki is a really great idea and really appreciate the work of User:Bgschaid. The link to Main_ContribExamples seems to be missing from the nice new main page (cf. Special:WhatLinksHere/Main_ContribExamples). Can it be fixed? 7islands 06:42, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- Added link in section 1, thanks for suggestion Hoogs 03:58, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

1 Active content (sketch)
Added the facilities to generate active (time-triggered) content to the front page. Before it goes online I'd like your feedback to it. It is found at: TestBgschaid/Alternative (The news item is found at WikiNews_Added_dynamic_content_to_the_front_page) --Bgschaid 21:55, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

3 Created new discussion page
If you want to discuss issues/ideas for this specific wiki, where do you go? This page seems natural, but should probably keep things focussed on the home page. I created a new page to discuss this wiki and have added some home page links. Hoogs 02:51, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
4 OpenFOAM Windows Port
There is a native OpenFOAM-1.5 Windows Port available at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/openfoam-mswin/ This is the old Talk-page of main page of the Wiki
- Added the link to the front page as this Windows-thing seems to be quite popular (the main reason that I hear is "Most games run on it") but in order not to overload the front page I don't want to add too many other ports. Maybe someone is interested in starting a page with a list of all the known ports. That could be linked to from the front-page Bgschaid 20:01, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- I started the page with for Windows related ports ([Windows]), so you might want to update the link --Akidess 12:15, 31 March 2012 (CEST)
- Done --Bgschaid 13:20, 3 April 2012 (CEST)
5 Update Netgen Link
Netgen now has an updated website and project site which lives in Sourceforge. Would it be possible to update the link on the front page to the latest one? I do not have write access for the OpenFOAMWiki Main Page... The correct links are:
Netgen Sourceforge Project Page
You could link to the wiki page, because this page links to the project summary page too.
