How to use this template

This is nearly identical to the base template, as discussed at Template_talk:VersionTemplate.

Difference between the original base template and this one:

1. short notation, such as 16ext
2. long notation, such as 1.6-ext
3. V or v for the image's fine name, namely Version or version.

Example of usage:

{{VersionTemplate|16ext|1.6-ext|v}}
