I am a soon-to-be PhD graduate of mechanical engineering at University of Illinois at Chicago.
My PhD thesis was providing a new solver in OpenFOAM. I have a written a solver for OpenFOAM that solves the electrohydrodynamic flow including the ionic transport equations and the Poisson equation. This solver employs a unique fixed-gradient boundary condition that will be updated in each iteration based on the gradient of other variables. I want to upload this solver in OpenFOAM wiki.
