From OpenFOAMWiki

I have used OpenFOAM and developed model in OpenFOAM since 2007. I did a lot LES simulations of turbulent jet and wake flow during my phd years. And I developed a solver based on DOM model in OpenFOAM to simulation photosynthetic active radiation through bio-suspension, including a realistic model for fluorescence lamps, and validated with my own experiments. In last three years, I've working on Quadrature-based moments method (QBMM) with Rodney Fox at ISU. With OpenFOAM, we developed a polydispersed bubbly flow and gas-particle flow solver, and performed mesoscale DNS for homogeneous and wall-bounded gravity-drive gas-particle flow to study multiphase turbulence. In the future, I am looking forward to expand my research into sprays, and other interesting multiphase problems using OpenFOAM and maybe my own experiments.
