I currently pursue Ph.D. degree at Université de Technologie de Compiègne, France, working on the fluid-structure interaction. OpenFOAM is my CFD working platform and I am trying to couple it with the Discontinuous Deformation Analysis, a family of the Discrete Element Methods. And the major techniques related to OpenFOAM are the dynamic mesh and immersed boundary method.
