MEng in Mechanical Engineering, CAE engineering consultant working in the fields of renewable energy trying to setup its own startup. Interested in using OpenFOAM mainly for: -Turbomachinery; -numerical optimization; -fluid-structure interactions; -multi-phase flows. Main research areas: -renewable (wind & ocean) energy; -manufacturing processes; -automotive and transportation. Looking for finding the optimal CAE workflow using only open-source software, from CAD geometry generation to post-processing, automating as much as possible.
