An OpenFOAM model that refers to the optimization of a plate fin heat-exchanger by modifying the geometry of the fins in order to achieve a higher heat transfer coefficient. Basically the modification of the fluid flow along the channels due to different fin geometries will presumably lead to the increase of the heat transfer.
