Peter is a research and development engineer developing tools an applications for physics-based modeling of extreme phenomena, typically blast and fire. He is an experienced user, developer, and instructor of OpenFOAM and related technologies; and has a particular interest in leveraging and extending high-quality and high-performance open source projects to develop solutions which are often game-changing in industries which have traditionally relied on closed-souce, inflexible black-box proprietary solutions.
