Fields of Work: Hydrodynamics Constitutive modelling Equation of state Fracture modelling Radiation hydrodynamics

Developed 2-D and 3-D ALE hydrocodes. Four damage models have been implemented: Void-Growth, Cochran-Banner, Revised Johnson-Cook, Nucleation and Growth models. Three strenth models have also been implemented: Johnson-Cook, Steinberg-Guinan, MTS model. Tabular and analytical EOS for various materials have been implented. Especially six-parameter EOS has been developed. Some of the applications done are: Spalling in impact driven targets, fragmentation, shock-wave interaction in various geometries, etc.


Just now started simulations with OpenFOAM. Planning to work thermal-hydraulics problems using openFOAM. Thanks
