I am a Research Scientist in the field of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I am working on hydraulic fracturing problems. I want to pursue to create models using solidmechanics and stress analysis solvers in openfoam to solve some particular problems relating to hydraulic fracturing. I am extremely impressed by the how powerful openfoam is and makes it an ideal software to extend my research.
