I am a graduate student researcher. Currently working on performing high-fidelity large eddy simulations of wall bounded turbulent flows with obstacles using OpenFOAM. The specific problem I am studying is generating time varying turbulent inflow conditions for LES in order to reduce the inlet channel length. Then I plan to work on turbulent flow around a wall mounted cube. Perform LES and if possible direct numerical simulation (DNS) to study the underlying flow physics and transition to turbulence.
