The Open Source CFD International Conference, organised by ICON, will return to the UK this year, to the vibrant Olympic City of London.

The challenges of CFD Simulation are ever increasing. Industry continues to demand greater relevance of CFD in the product design process. Timely and more complex simulations are expected with ever decreasing budgets.

Industry and academia alike are united in their quest to find new technologies, solutions and processes which push the barriers of innovation whilst remaining economically attractive. In recent years, the emergence of Open Source technologies has been seen by many as a platform for flexibility, collaborative efforts and a pathway to greater innovation.

The 6th Open Source CFD International Conference, taking place in London, UK from 29th - 30th October 2012, will build upon the considerable interest and success of those who are using, programming and deploying open source CFD solutions both in industry and academia.
