I am Mahdi Torabi Rad. I am doing my PhD at the University of Iowa. I am developing computational multi-phase/-scale models of solidification, and implementing them in OpenFOAM. My special interests are: modeling and simulation of of multi-phase flows, phase-change transport phenomena, casting simulations, multi-scale modeling, phase-Field methods, interracial transport phenomena
