User of OpenFOAM for over 1.5 years working on fluid-structure interaction simulation of flapping airfoil propulsion. Interested in finite volume solid mechanics, specifically plasticity. Working on updating some of the older turbomachinery codes to take advantage of years of new additions to the FOAM codebase. Currently working on aerodynamic design routines for centrifugal compressors using OpenFOAM.
Graduate Student at The University of Alabama studying Finite Element Crystal Plasticity.
