I am a Ph.D. student in Taiwan. My research focus is in the field of wind energy engineering, and in the simulation part, I try to use CFD to simulate the distribution of wind turbine wake and turbulence properties in a wind turbine farm. I used to use commercial software packages, such as Fluent and StartCCM++, because of cost considerations, I have changed to use OpenFOAM for a while, but I am still a new guy in OpenFOAM.
