I am a research scientist at the RWTH Aachen, Germany. We already computed some turbulent pipe flow with an incompressible fluid. The next steps will be complex turbulent pipe flows of compressible fluids. At the unversity OpenFoam will be used to show students of mechanical engineering and Aeronautics the numerical behaviour of different schemes on serial and parallel computers as well.
