I currently am a MSc student Applied Physics - Excellence Track in Solid & Fluid Mechanics at TU Delft.
My BSc thesis (2013, 10 weeks) was on numerical simulation of turbulent flow around (fractal) trees. My internship (2014, 4 months) was on numerically studying flotation (with OpenFOAM) at Tata Steel Europe. My MSc thesis (future) (2014-2015) will be on the simulation of blood and its interaction with light. My PhD (future) (2015-2019) will be on simulating blast furnace hearth flow, for which I submitted a proposal and won a grant.
I'm educated as a physicist and a hobbyist programmer. Specifically, I enjoy writing Java applications, just for fun and "because I can".
